My Lovely Mum

I sat and held your hand mum right till the very end. It broke my heart to watch you suffer so much pain. I wanted to take that pain away so you would wake up it broke my heart to realise that this was impossible. I keep you and dad next to my heart every day. Until we meet again Mum. Loving daughter Catherine xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

End of the road

When i come to the end of the road,And the sun has set for me,I want no tears in a gloom-filled room,Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not to much,And not with your head bowed low,Remember the love that once we shared,Miss me,but let me go.There is a journey we all must take,And each must take alone; It,s all a part of Gods perfect plan,A step on the road to home. When you are lonley and sick of heart,Go to the friends that we know,Bury your sorrows in doing good,Miss me but let me go.xxxxx
Love you always mum xxxxxx

God's Garden

God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He closed His arms around you, And He whispered 'Come to Me'. You do not deserve what you went through, And so He gave you rest, God's garden must be beautiful, For He only takes from the best. In time we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, Our hearts were almost broken, You fought so hard to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, So peacefully from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. If you had spoken before you died, These are the words you would have replied, 'Weep not for me, but courage take, And love one another for my sake.'

A thousand words x x

If we could have a lifetime wish A dream that would come true, We'd pray to God with all our hearts for yesterday and You. A thousand words can't bring you back we know because we've tried... Neither will a thousand tears we know because we've cried... You left behind our broken hearts and happy memories too... But we never wanted memories we only wanted You.
